Willkie’s Antitrust & Competition team in Paris continues to earn recognition as one of the top practice groups in the field in GCR 100 2022, an annual guide to the world’s best competition practices. Global Competition Review ranked Willkie “Highly Recommended” in France for the fourth consecutive year, noting the firm’s achievements in merger control, as well as in cartel defense and other and high-stakes disputes.
The publication highlighted Willkie’s representation of Ardian in its proposed acquisition of oil pipeline operator Société du Pipeline Rhône‐Méditerranée, and its work to secure regulatory clearance for major deals by Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations and PAI Partners. The profile also noted Willkie’s record of success in competition litigation, including its recent representations of retailer Casino, global transport and logistics company Kuehne & Nagel, and Air France.
