FFL Partners Sells Church’s Chicken to High Bluff Capital Partners and FS Investments

FFL Partners agreed to the sale of Church's Chicken, a large quick service chicken restaurant chain, to High Bluff Capital Partners and investment funds managed by FS Investments.

Based in Atlanta and founded in 1952 in San Antonio, Texas, Church’s is one of the world’s largest quick-service restaurant chicken chains, with more than 1,500 locations in 26 countries and international territories. The brand in 2020 generated system-wide sales of nearly $1.2 billion.

FFL Partners is a San Francisco-based private equity firm with over $5 billion under management, pursuing investments in business services and healthcare services.
