Michael De Voe Piazza, co-head of Willkie’s energy practice and co-managing partner of its Houston office, was named Energy & Industrials Dealmaker of the Year at The Deal’s Middle Market Awards, announced on July 31.
Among his achievements over the past year, Mr. Piazza is recognized for advising on one of the largest upstream acquisitions by a private equity platform in 2019, as well as several middle market joint ventures in the oil and gas industry.
