The program helps small business owners and entrepreneurs affected by COVID-19 review their eligible options under the CARES Act.

Attorneys in Willkie’s Washington office are partnering with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center to provide limited scope, remote consultations to help business owners review available options under the CARES Act and other loan and grant programs.

The pro bono project involves virtual consultations with eligible small business owners to help them understand the options available to them and provide guidance.

Lawyers in other Willkie offices are engaged in similar pro bono efforts to help COVID-19-affected businesses. Willkie attorneys are working with the City Bar Justice Center and Lawyers for Good Government Foundation (L4GG) in New York, and the City of Houston Office of Business Opportunity in Houston to help small business owners navigate stimulus support.
