Willkie represented worldwide technology leader Cisco in its acquisition of Voicea, a privately held company focused on voice collaboration technology that leverages the power of AI.

On September 6, Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) announced that it has completed its acquisition of privately held Voicea, the Mountain View, CA-based creator of a market-leading real-time solution that provides meeting transcription, voice search, and meeting highlights/action items, with robust data privacy.

With Voicea technology, Cisco will enhance its Webex portfolio of products with a powerful transcription service that blends AI and Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) to unlock the power of any collaboration, like meetings and calls. The acquisition, which was announced on August 6, builds upon Cisco's vision of Cognitive Collaboration, which slipstreams AI across all interactions to make teams more productive.

Cisco is the worldwide technology leader that has been making the Internet work since 1984.

The Willkie team was led by partner Craig Menden with partners Matthew Berger and Tiffany Lee advising on intellectual property matters and included corporate associates Jenny Liu, Kristen Killian and Lauren Kim.
