New York, NY (March 11, 2019) --- Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP today announced that Craig Menden has joined the firm as a partner in the Palo Alto, California office. Mr. Menden, previously a partner at Cooley LLP, focuses on the representation of technology and life sciences companies in a broad range of deal structures, including classic public company acquisitions and VC-backed private acquisitions. Additionally, he regularly represents parties in acquihires, tax free double mergers, tender offers, so-called “reverse” mergers and other less common structures. His clients range from young startups and hot unicorns to mature technology companies. Some of Mr. Menden’s recent notable transactions include advising Rovi Corporation in its $1.1 billion acquisition of TiVo, Cisco Systems in its $660 million acquisition of Luxtera and $635 million acquisition of OpenDNS, Elemental Technologies in its sale to Amazon.com, and Snap in numerous acquisitions.
