London Office represented J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC on its establishment of a London wholesale broking platform and the acquisition of two London brokers.
Willkie’s London office recently represented J.C. Flowers & Co LLC on its establishment of a London wholesale broking platform and the acquisition of two London brokers, SSL Insurance Group and Endeavour Insurance Services. These acquisitions are the first in a strategy to roll up further independent brokers. Both are Lloyd’s brokers; Endeavour is a delegated authority specialist, and SSL is a leading marine specialist. The deal was announced on May 18, 2018 and closed on July 31.
J.C. Flowers is a private investment firm dedicated to investing globally in the financial services industry. Since inception, the firm has invested nearly $15 billion, including co-investment, in 51 portfolio companies across 17 countries.
