New York and Washington offices advised Metaurus, a newly formed financial services firm, in launch of two commodity-linked ETFs listed on NYSE Arca.

Willkie advised a newly formed financial services firm, Metaurus, in connection with the launch of two commodity-linked ETFs listed on NYSE Arca. One of the ETFs (US Equity Cumulative Dividends Fund – Series 2027; NYSE Arca: IDIV) provides investors with monthly distributions tracking dividends paid by S&P 500 issuers without having any exposure to the underlying stocks. The other ETF (US Equity Ex-Dividend Fund – Series 2027; NYSE Arca: XDIV) provides investors with exposure to the stocks making up the S&P 500 without exposure to the dividend stream. The funds are unique and allow investors to select which portion of an equity security they want to invest in – as between capital investment and distributions – without having to invest in the other portion.

The Willkie team included Rose DiMartino, Roger Wise, Deborah Tuchman, Georgia Bullitt and Patrick Quinn.
