Warburg is existing equity holder in 60 million share offering.
Willkie represented funds affiliated with Warburg Pincus LLC in connection with the 60 million share offering of common stock by Laredo Petroleum Inc, valued at approximately $663 million. Warburg funds were pre-existing 40% stockholders of Laredo and certain Warburg funds purchased approximately 49.7% of the shares issued in the offering. The Willkie team was led by partners Steven Gartner and Maurice Lefkort, and included associates Bradley Friedman, Vanida Narrainen, and Tristan Freeman.
