Firm represents Reinsurance Group of America in connection with its reinsurance of a large block of term life insurance policies issued by subsidiaries of Voya Financial.
The firm recently represented Reinsurance Group of America in a transaction in which subsidiaries of Voya Financial (formerly ING – U.S.) will transfer to RGA, via reinsurance, an in-force block of 170,000 term life insurance polices. The policies represent about $104 billion of life insurance, backed by more than $1.3 billion of statutory reserves. GA is one of the largest global life insurance companies in the world. RGA has approximately $3 trillion of life insurance in force and assets of $43.2 billion.
