Acciona Energía Internacional S.A. sells its German wind park portfolio to Swiss energy company Swisspower Renewables AG.
Willkie client Acciona Energía Internacional S.A. recently announced that it has agreed to sell its German wind park portfolio to Swiss energy company Swisspower Renewables AG for €157 million. The businesses being sold include 18 operating wind parks located in Lower Saxony and Brandenburg consisting of 85 installed turbines with a total attributable capacity of 150.3 Megawatts (MW).
The multidisciplinary Willkie deal team was led by corporate partner Georg Linde and included national partners Dr. Jan Wilms (finance), Dr. Bettina Bokeloh (tax), Dr. Christian Rolf (employment) and associates Dr. Maximilian Schwab, Wolfgang Münchow, Dr. Johannes Eckhardt (all corporate) and Tobias Daubert (Finance).
