The Paris office recently advised on the implementation of the City of Marseille’s €700 million EMTN program. The firm represented Natixis (as arranger and placement agent), Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, HSBC France, Nomura and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (as placement agents). The EMTN program has been rated A by Standard & Poor’s and A+ by Fitch Ratings. In April 2013, Willkie advised Natixis and the City of Marseille in a €40 million private placement. The current deal was handled by partner Thierry Laloum, national partner Vincent Brenot and associates Iris Géniès, Emilie Patoux and Alexis Grisoni.
