Continental Structural Plastics (CSP), a U.S. based innovator of structural composite products, acquires assets of France-based Sora Composites.

It was recently announced that Willkie client Continental Structural Plastics (CSP), a U.S. based innovator of structural composite products, has acquired assets of France-based Sora Composites, an automotive subcontracting operator that was dismantled late 2012. CSP acquired a portion of the Pouancé plant (Maine et Loire, France), thus contributing, along with other partners, to the re-industrialization of the site. CSP, which will occupy half of the plant, will develop hybrid and innovative organizational models which are expected to employ 175 people over the next three years.

The deal was handled by partners Alexandra Bigot (restructuring) and Annette Péron (corporate), national partner Vincent Brenot (environmental), and corporate associates Olivier Lopez and Basma Paradin.
