Ms. Kwan-Gett receives top honor at Chambers Women in Law US Awards 2013.
On January 15, Litigation partner Mei Lin Kwan-Gett was named "Up & Coming Litigation Lawyer of the Year" at Chambers 2013 Women in Law US Awards. Over 200 guests attended the ceremony in New York City honoring "the most outstanding performances from female lawyers over the past year." Chambers notes that these are "the most comprehensive national awards for women lawyers in the USA." Ms. Kwan-Gett, who serves as co-head of Willkie’s White Collar Criminal Defense Practice Group, was also recognized for her achievements with respect to diversity in the workplace and associate mentoring. Chambers is the leading publisher of legal directories/rankings, which are based on independent research that includes extensive interviews with clients, competitors and peers.
