Willkie selected to receive inMotion’s "2011 Commitment to Justice Award for Outstanding Firm," and a special "Legal Team Award" for its exceptional handling of a particular case.

Willkie has been selected to receive the "2011 Commitment to Justice Award for Outstanding Firm" by inMotion, a New York City non-profit organization that provides pro bono legal services for indigent women and children.  Willkie will be honored on February 8 at inMotion’s 2011 Commitment to Justice Awards for its extraordinary service to the organization over the past year.  Additionally, Willkie associates Nina DiSalvo, Jennifer Endzweig, Jill Grant and Laura Greenberg will be presented with a "Legal Team Award" for their exceptional representation of a pro bono client in a contested divorce case.

Since its founding in 1993, Willkie has been a longtime supporter of inMotion in its mission to provide free legal services to low-income women and their children, primarily in the areas of matrimonial, family and immigration law.  In 2008, the firm established an externship with inMotion, where on a four-month rotation externs are given a full case load in Family Court and Supreme Court.
