Willkie is pleased to announce that on February 1, 2007 Mario Schmidt joined the firm as a partner in the Frankfurt office.  Mr. Schmidt, formerly a partner at Clifford Chance, is recognized as a leading Private Equity expert in Europe.  He joins Jochen Winter in Frankfurt, and will help form the core of a formidable transactional team.
