EQT III agrees to sell Swedish refrigeration and recreational equipment maker Dometic AB to funds advised by Willkie client BC Partners in a deal valued at approximately $1 billion.
On April 8, it was announced that Stockholm-based EQT III has agreed to sell Swedish refrigeration and recreational equipment maker Dometic AB to funds advised by Willkie client BC Partners in a deal valued at approximately $1 billion. Willkie advised on the US and French aspects of the transaction. London-based BC Partners acquires and develops European businesses in partnership with management. Dometic is a leading manufacturer of innovative leisure products such as refrigerators, awnings, air conditioners and stoves for caravans, campers and boats. Willkie lawyers Serge Benchetrit and Suzanne Sylvester (NY), and Cedric Hajage and Jeremy Scemama (Paris) handled the deal.
