Paris partner Daniel Payan was recently named in The Lawyer’s “The Hot 100,” an annual profile of top European lawyers who are shaping the law and the profession in the year to come. The UK publication reports that in “Paris’s tough private equity market, Daniel Payan is still one of the kings.” Among the major deals and transactions that Mr. Payan has recently handled, he is particularly recognized for acting for Sodiaal on the sale of a 50 percent stake in Yoplait to private equity firm PAI Management and for his representation of PAI on its bid for optical retailer GrandVision.
