Lisa Prichard and Anamika Samanta honored at the fifth annual Commitment to Justice Awards by inMotion.
On December 1, Willkie associates Lisa Prichard and Anamika Samanta were honored at the fifth annual Commitment to Justice Awards by inMotion, the agency that brokers pro bono legal services for indigent women in New York City. They were recognized particularly for their outstanding work on a highly contested divorce case, representing a client who was stabbed multiple times by her husband. The firm is a longtime supporter of inMotion and its mission to provide free legal services to low-income women and their children, primarily in the areas of matrimonial, family and immigration law. Ms. Prichard and Ms. Samanta are associates in the firm’s Litigation Department.
