The September issue of The Lawyer magazine features a special profile on the success of Willkie’s continuous European expansion. The article reports on the four new partners to recently join the firm’s European practice: Alexandra Bigot and Jean-Dominique Daudier de Cassini in the Business Reorganization and Restructuring Department in Paris; Marc van der Woude in the Antitrust Department in Brussels and Paolo Barozzi who will join the Corporate and Financial Services Department in Milan later this Fall. The article notes the diverse experience and expertise the quartet of partner hires adds to the firm’s highly regarded international practice. Firm Chairman Jack Nusbaum told The Lawyer that Willkie’s growth in Europe stems from the firm’s well-established Paris office. He stated “It was a push from Paris that we should have an office in every major financial center.”
