Marc van der Woude joins the Antitrust Department in the firm's Brussels office.
On July 21, Marc van der Woude joined the Antitrust Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher in Brussels. Mr. van der Woude is a recognized expert in European competition law, having taught at the Erasmus Universiteit (Rotterdam), the University of Rotterdam and the Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature, Bordeaux/Paris, France. He has written numerous books and articles on competition law including the EC Competition Law Handbook (co-author, Sweet & Maxwell, 12th Ed. 2002). Mr. van der Woude is the former President of the Belgian Association of European Law and a current member of the Algemene Raad (advisory board on energy policy) to the Dutch Government.
