E. Donald Elliott joins the firm as Chair of the Environmental Department in the Washington office.

The firm is pleased to announce that on April 1, 2003, E. Donald Elliott joined the firm as Chair of its Environmental Department in Washington, D.C. Mr. Elliott has more than 20 years of environmental law experience including his service from 1989-1991 as General Counsel of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where he was the primary legal advisor to EPA Administrator William Reilly. He has gained national recognition for setting and contributing to important international policy and legal precedent in the areas of the Clean Air Act, Toxic Torts, the Toxic Substances Control Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, the National Environmental Policy Act and the Superfund.
