On January 27 at 4:25 pm (PT), senior counsel Jonathan Lurie will participate on the panel titled “Breaking Up Family Partnerships” as part of the USC Gould School of Law 2026 Tax Institute. Partners Bryan Kelly and Shane Nix serve on the planning committee for the Institute, hosted in Los Angeles, California.
Jonathan’s panel will discuss solutions related to splitting up a family real estate partnership, including liquidity considerations, tax deferral, tax strategy and family governance.
