On July 25 and 26, two Willkie partners will participate in PLI’s “Investment Management 2023: Current Issues and Trends,” an event hosted by the Practising Law Institute. 

Anne Choe, partner in the Firm’s Asset Management Practice, will co-chair the event, deliver opening remarks, and speak on three panels. Adam Aderton, partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department and member of the Firm’s Securities Litigation & Enforcement Practice Group, will speak on one panel. 
 
On July 25 at 9:00 am ET, Anne will deliver Opening Remarks. At 9:15AM EDT, she will speak on a panel, “SEC Division of Investment Management’s Strategic Agenda,” addressing the objectives and challenges of the SEC’s proposed amendments. On July 26 at 10:30 am ET, she will speak on a panel, “Current Developments in Exchange-Traded Funds,” providing an overview of regulatory initiatives related to ETFs. At 11:45 am ET, she will speak on a panel, “SEC Compliance and Examination Issues for Advisers and Funds,” addressing key adviser and fund compliance issues.

On July 26 at 9:00 am ET, Adam will speak on a panel, “Enforcement and Litigation Trends in Investment Management,” taking an in-depth look at issues that capture the SEC’s interest most often.
