Robert B. Stebbins, Co-Chair of Willkie’s Corporate Governance practice, is participating in a panel discussion as part of the 2022 CARE Conference on navigating CSR, ESG and sustainability issues.

The panel titled “Regulation in a Sustainable World” will examine the legal and regulatory issues related to sustainability disclosures, and will air on 10:55 a.m. EST on Friday, September 23. Bob, former General Counsel for the Securities and Exchange Commission, is joined in the hour-long panel discussion by other leading corporate governance lawyers and academics, including several former SEC commissioners.

The pre-recorded conference will be hosted by the University of Notre Dame and broadcast on September 21 and 23, in conjunction with “Sustainable Investment Forum North America 2022,” a forum held by the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative as part of Climate Week NYC.

In addition, the CARE Conference will launch a new journal, Accounting in a Sustainable World Quarterly, and the transcribed panel discussion will appear in an upcoming issue of the publication.
