On April 29 at 9:15 AM EDT, Willkie partner Laura Friedrich will participate on a virtual panel entitled “Trends in Private Equity Structures and Terms” at the 22nd annual Private Equity Forum, hosted by the Practising Law Institute.

The discussion will include an update on structures and terms in the evolving private equity fund-raising landscape, notes on the rising importance of ESG/SRI in fundraising, and a look at the regulatory and enforcement landscape under the new Biden administration.

This year's Private Equity Forum will also address the architecture of sponsor-led restructuring deals, current issues in negotiating the terms of private equity funds, and the best practices for establishing effective private fund compliance. New this year is an in-depth look at hot topics for emerging managers, as well as the lessons learned in raising a first-time fund before, during, and on the back-end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
