Michael Young participated on the panel “Liability Hot Buttons for 2016.”

Litigation partner Michael Young participated as a panelist in “Ensuring Integrity: the 10th Annual Audit Conference,” sponsored by the Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity at Baruch College and the NASBA Center for the Public Trust.

Mr. Young’s panel, “Liability Hot Buttons for 2016,” discussed issues likely to shape auditor-related litigation in 2016, including the impact of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) on auditor liability.

The annual conference provides a forum for interaction between business, public accounting, academics and policy setters from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). It also examines the current best practices of ethics and independence within the auditing profession. The conference is organized in partnership with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy's Center for the Public Trust.
