Charise Patterson is a senior associate in the Corporate & Financial Services Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.  Charise focuses on complex corporate and transactional matters, including the representation of private equity firms, their portfolio companies and other privately held companies in connection with domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, minority and growth investments, divestitures, carve-out transactions, joint ventures and general corporate matters.

  • Recognize Partners in its investment in 2X LLC, a leading B2B-focused marketing-as-a-service firm
  • Recognize Partners in its investment in Blend360, provider of data, analytics and talent solutions for Fortune 500 companies
  • Ariel Alternatives, LLC, in its acquisition of a majority stake in Sorenson Communications, a deal with an enterprise value of $1.3 billion, and various matters in support of Project Black’s inaugural $1.45 billion private equity fund
  • Recognize Partners in connection with a strategic investment in AST Corporation, a leading cloud and digital transformation solutions provider
  • CIP Capital and its portfolio company Cisive in the sale of Cisive to GTCR

  • A B2B technology and data-driven solutions company providing data collection, science and technology and data-enabled marketing services to the agricultural, healthcare, construction and industrial supply industries in its approx. $100 million sale to a Canadian national telecommunications company*
  • A software platform provider powering off campus housing listings at U.S. universities from founding through expansion to over 130 schools and ultimate sale to apartments.com*
  • A leading provider of litigation support services in its approx. $300 million sale to a private equity fund*
  • Owners in $300 million equity sale of coal ash management and recycling company to energy-focused private equity fund*
  • An infrastructure private equity fund in the divestiture of a steam and electricity generating station located in New York City to a financial sponsor for approx. $475 million*
  • An infrastructure private equity fund in the sale of four coal-fired generation facilities in New Jersey, Arkansas and West Virginia to a financial sponsor for approx. $170 million*
