Lawyers For Racial Justice is an initiative by the Lawyers For Good Government Foundation and is dedicated to mobilizing essential pro bono legal resources in support of organizations on the front lines of the fight for racial justice.

Together with other major law firms and in-house legal teams at Fortune 500 companies, Willkie is supporting the Lawyers for Racial Justice initiative as a pro bono partner.

Created by the not-for-profit organization Lawyers For Good Government Foundation (L4GG), Lawyers for Racial Justice was established to help bring about systemic change by mobilizing legal resources in the fight for racial justice at the state and local level.

So far, Willkie lawyers have been involved in researching state and local laws and related practices of the largest school districts in various states pertaining to the use of law enforcement in schools as part of an overall effort to dismantle the school to prison pipeline.

Willkie is also among the firms that worked with L4GG in providing pro bono assistance to small business owners nationwide in securing federal COVID-19 stimulus support. For more information, read here.

The Lawyers for Good Government Foundation is a non-profit network of more than 125,000 legal advocates with lawyers in all 50 states.
