Paris partner Daniel Hurstel appointed to serve as a member of the Consultative Working Group charged with assisting the European “Expert Group” on the drafting of the European directive on Prospectus and Disclosure Requirements set up by the CESR (Committee of European Securities Regulators).

Paris partner Daniel Hurstel has been appointed to serve as a member of the Consultative Working Group charged with assisting the European “Expert Group” on the drafting of the European directive on Prospectus and Disclosure Requirements set up by the CESR (Committee of European Securities Regulators).  The Expert Group was formed by the CESR to respond to the European Commission's provisional request for technical advice on possible implementing measures with regard to the proposed directive on the prospectus to be published when securities are offered to the public or admitted to trading. Daniel Hurstel is a partner in the Corporate and Financial Services Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher in Paris. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions/capital markets, group restructuring, joint ventures, IPOs and the creation of a wide variety of financial instruments.
