Attorneys in Willkie’s London and Washington, DC offices contributed chapters on the global investigations landscape to the seventh edition of The Practitioner’s Guide to Global Investigations: Volume I. Published by Global Investigations Review (GIR), the book is a practical guide for external and in-house counsel, compliance officers and accounting practitioners.

 

Partners David Mortlock and Britt Mosman and associates Nikki Cronin and Ahmad El-Gamal authored a chapter, “Sanctions: The US Perspective,” which provides an overview of the sanctions landscape, discussion of countries subject to US sanctions and the framework for enforcement and compliance. The chapter also discusses emerging issues and recent trends in US sanctions enforcement and best practices for corporations.

Partners Rita Mitchell and Simon Osborn-King and associate Yannis Yuen authored “Sanctions: The UK Perspective,” which discusses the UK sanctions and enforcement landscape, key jurisdictions, best practices in investigations and significant market trends.
