Chris is an associate in the Corporate & Financial Services Department and a member of the Willkie Digital Works practice. Chris represents a diverse range of clients in negotiating complex partnership structures, equity-line subscriptions, public and private mergers, acquisitions and sales processes, GP stake transactions, platform reorganizations, early-stage equity investments and other general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Willkie, Chris was an associate at a large law firm in Delaware and advised clients on fund formation, subscription facilities, lending arrangements and securitization matters.

  • Arch Insurance North America on its $450 million acquisition of Allianz’s U.S. MidCorp and Entertainment insurance businesses
  • American Family Insurance Group in the sale of a majority stake in the attorney-in-fact of Trusted Resource Underwriters Exchange to funds managed by Gallatin Point Capital
  • iA Financial Corporation in its acquisition of Vericity
  • Capital Constellation in its acquisition of a minority ownership interest in Pollen Street Capital
  • The management team of Hawthorne Energy in connection with the formation of Hawthorne Energy, LLC and a line of equity commitment from Carnelian Energy Capital III, L.P.
  • Springbok in the sale of mineral and royalty interests to Kimbell Royalty Partners for $175 million
  • Houston Energy in the entry into a joint venture with Quantum Energy with more than $400 million of equity commitments to fund Deepwater Gulf of Mexico exploration and production
  • Oak Street Real Estate Capital in its $1.6 billion acquisition by Blue Owl Capital
