The lawyers contributed the U.S. chapter for Acquisition Finance 2022, which addresses the provisions and obligations for debtors and creditors in structuring international acquisitions.
A team of Willkie Finance attorneys – partner Sarah B. Gelb, counsel Charlotta Chung, associate Han Rhee and partners Viktor Okasmaa and Andres C. Mena – served as contributing editors for the tenth edition of Acquisition Finance, a Lexology Getting the Deal Through publication. Acquisition Finance is a reference guide detailing the provisions and obligations for debtors and creditors in structuring international acquisitions. The publication comprises chapters on France, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the United States.
The Willkie attorneys contributed the U.S. chapter, which provides a comprehensive overview on a host of topics including the general structuring of financing, guarantees and collateral, debt commitment letters and acquisition agreements, enforcement of claims and insolvency, and recent trends.
The co-authoring group reflects the leadership of Willkie’s Finance Department and its depth of talent, with partner Sarah B. Gelb, counsel Charlotta Chung and knowledge management attorney Han Rhee joining Viktor Okasmaa and Andres C. Mena, Co-Chairs of the Finance Department, as editors and contributors to Acquisition Finance.
