Willkie represents private equity firm Friedman Fleischer & Lowe LLC in sale of garage door manufacturer to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P.
C.H.I. Overhead Doors, a North American manufacturer of residential and commercial garage doors, announced on June 23 that KKR, a leading global investment firm, is acquiring the company from Willkie client Friedman Fleischer & Lowe LLC. Headquartered in Arthur, IL, CHI manufactures overhead sectional garage door products for the residential and commercial markets, as well as rolling steel doors for commercial and industrial customers. FFL is a San Francisco-based middle-market private equity firm.
The deal was handled by partners Neil Townsend, David Cosgrove, Michael Zinder and Anthony Carbone and associates Alexis Anzelone, Kristen DiCarmine, Gal Davidovitch and Joshua Deason.
