Mr. Katzenberg, a leading real estate finance attorney, joins the firm as of counsel in the New York office, effective April 15, 2013.
Willkie is pleased to announce that Jordan Katzenberg, a leading real estate finance attorney, has joined the firm, effective April 15, 2013. Mr. Katzenberg, who represents lenders in all aspects of the origination of large commercial mortgage and mezzanine loans, will practice in Willkie’s Real Estate Department as of counsel in the New York office. Meeting the demands of the recent surge of activity in the CMBS market, Willkie continues to expand its already strong real estate lending platform.
In addition to representing lenders in the full gamut of real estate finance transactions, Mr. Katzenberg also has broad experience in other areas of commercial real estate, including advising on the acquisitions and dispositions of office buildings, hotels and other properties. He was previously with Kaye Scholer LLP.
