Global chemical producer Arkema issues Euronext Paris-listed bonds.
On May 2, Willkie client Arkema, a global chemical company, announced a €230 million bonds issue through a private placement. The loan, with an April 2020 maturity and a 3.85% annual coupon, allows Arkema to benefit from the current favorable market conditions. The bonds were issued and listed on Euronext Paris on April 30, 2012. Euronext Paris-listed Arkema is France’s leading chemicals producer. The deal was handled by national partner Julien Mougel and associates Michaël Armandou and Farah El-Bsat.
