Willkie Advises on Allstate’s $500 Million Debt Offering

Firm advises the underwriters in The Allstate Corporation’s offering of 5.200% Senior Notes Due 2042.

On January 11, The Allstate Corporation, the nation's largest publicly held personal lines insurer, closed its $500 million offering of 5.200% Senior Notes Due 2042. Willkie advised lead underwriters J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Goldman, Sachs & Co. on behalf of all of the underwriters in the transaction. Founded in 1931, Allstate provides insurance products to more than 16 million households throughout the United States and Canada. Willkie has represented the underwriters in various Allstate debt and hybrid offerings aggregating approximately $6.5 billion in recent years.

The current deal was handled by partners Cristopher Greer and Jeffrey Hochman and associate Danielle Scalzo.
