It was recently announced that Willkie client Elior, the French contract catering company, has acquired Vannes, France-based catering group Ansamble. With 85,000 employees servicing three million customers in 14 countries, Elior is Europe’s third-largest provider of contracted food services. With 2,400 employees staffing 490 restaurants and 20 food production units, Ansamble generated a turnover of €160 million in 2011. The deal was handled by partner Cédric Hajage, special European counsel Karine Lenczner and associates Elise Carrera, Adrien Giraud and Nicolas Cassauba.
