Partner and head of the Latin America practice Maria-Leticia Ossa Daza will speak on a panel discussing the skills new lawyers must develop to be successful.

On January 21, Willkie partner and head of the Latin America practice Maria-Leticia Ossa Daza will participate on a panel entitled “On Ramp to the Legal Profession,” hosted by New York City Bar as part of the New Lawyer Institute series.

The virtual panel, moderated by assistant dean of Fordham Law School Toni Yaeger-Fine, will discuss a range of competencies that new lawyers must learn (and more experienced lawyers must continue to develop) to be successful. Leading legal professionals from different practice settings will share advice on topics such as time management and organizational efficiency, proactivity, habits, mindset, communication skills, relationship building, and the service-based nature of the profession.
