Willkie partner Norman C. Bay, Head of the firm’s Energy Regulatory and Enforcement Group and past Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), will present at an upcoming webinar hosted by the Institute for Energy Law titled: Introduction to FERC Renewable Energy Regulation. The event will take place on October 22 at 12:00 p.m. Central.

The subjects covered will include an overview of the energy transition, an introduction to FERC and its jurisdiction over wholesale electricity markets and transmission, the RTO/ISO markets, and the regulatory framework that applies to renewable resources, including distribution-level facilities, Qualifying Facilities under PURPA, and utility-scale projects.
