James Burns was invited to speak at SIFMA’s Equity Markets Forum.
James Burns, a partner in Willkie’s Asset Management Group, spoke on a panel at SIFMA’s Equity Markets Forum on November 17 in New York. Industry leaders discussed the current state-of-play, the expected initiatives and potential regulatory proposals in the year ahead, and what additional changes are needed to ensure the fairness, stability and transparency of the equity markets.
Mr. Burns spoke on the panel “Market Structure: A Glimpse into 2016,” which looked ahead to evaluate the initiatives, regulatory developments, and trends that will have the largest impact on market participants in 2016.
