Thomas Jones is a partner in the Communications, Media & Privacy Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in Washington, D.C. Mr. Jones specializes in common carrier regulation.

Mr. Jones has represented leading competitive providers of telecommunications service in virtually every major FCC competition proceeding over the previous few years. Mr. Jones recently testified on common carrier regulation of broadband before the Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

Mr. Jones also has extensive experience negotiating interconnection agreements, and acting as regulatory counsel for underwriters, placement agents, and issuers in public and private financings as well as advising clients on regulatory issues related to the development of business plans and new product offerings. 

Chambers USA (2010) ranks Mr. Jones among the leading individuals practicing in the area of Telecom, Broadcast & Satellite (Regulatory) in Washington, D.C.
