  • James v. Cain, Warden, (24th Judicial District Court, State of Louisiana) (secured exoneration and release, through DNA testing, of a wrongly-convicted man who spent 30 years in prison)

  • The Swatch Group Management Services, Ltd. v. Bloomberg L.P., 102 U.S.P.Q. 2d 1791 (S.D.N.Y. 2012) (obtained summary judgment for news organization dismissing copyright claims arising from reporting on analyst call)

  • In re: Cablevision Consumer Litigation, (E.D.N.Y. 2012) (dismissing deceptive practices claims)

  • Bloomberg L.P. v. Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, 601 F.3d 143 (2d Cir. 2010) (affirming S.D.N.Y. ruling that Federal Reserve must disclose bank bailout records under Freedom of Information Act), cert. denied, 131 S.Ct. 1674 (2011)

  • Ovitz v. Bloomberg L.P. (New York Court of Appeals, March 27, 2012) (affirming dismissal of putative class action)

  • Minskoff Grant Realty & Management Corp. v. 211 Manager Corp., 71 A.D. 2d 843 (2d Dept 2010) (obtained reversal on appeal of order dismissing contract claims on statute of limitations grounds)

  • Horizon Asset Management v. H&R Block, (8th Cir. 2009) (affirming dismissal of securities fraud class action)

  • Sherwood 48 v. Sony Pictures, 2003 U.S. App. LEXIS 20106 (2d Cir. 2003) (obtained reversal of dismissal with prejudice of state law claims arising out of Sony Pictures’ digital alteration of advertisements on clients’ Times Square buildings in connection with the Spider-Man movie)

  • Computerized Thermal Imaging v. Bloomberg L.P., 312 F. 3d 1292 (10th Cir. 2002) (affirming dismissal of libel action)

  • Hart et al. v. Internet Wire, et al., 50 Fed. Appx. 464 (2d Cir. 2002) (affirming dismissal of putative securities fraud class action flowing from reporting what turned out to be a bogus press release)
