Richard K. DeScherer is a partner in the Corporate and Financial Services Department and Chair of the Information Systems/Technology Practice Group of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York.  Mr. DeScherer specializes in general corporate law, information technology, media, and intellectual property.  He is a member of Willkie Farr & Gallagher’s  Executive Committee.

Mr. DeScherer serves as the principal outside counsel at Willkie Farr & Gallagher for Bloomberg L.P. among other clients.

(Lupus) Foundation; a Director of the Lupus Research Institute; a Director of the United Hospital Fund of New York; a Director of the Baryshnikov Dance Foundation; an Emeritus Member, College Board of Trustees of Arts and Sciences of the University of Virginia; and a member of the Board of the New York City Sports Commission.

Mr. DeScherer is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
