Nirali Patel is special counsel in the Communications, Media & Privacy Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in Washington, D.C. Ms. Patel specializes in wireline telecommunications regulation and policy.

Ms. Patel has significant experience representing leading competitive telecommunications providers in rulemaking and other proceedings before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), including proceedings relating to broadband policy, VoIP services, special access reform, intercarrier compensation reform, universal service contribution reform, regulatory forbearance, and wireline transactions. She also advises these clients on FCC compliance matters relating to voice and broadband services.

Additionally, Ms. Patel has represented competitive telecommunications providers in appeals from FCC proceedings in the federal courts of appeals.

Ms. Patel is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
