Kim A. Walker is special counsel in the Intellectual Property Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York and serves as the firm’s Director of Diversity Initiatives. Ms. Walker specializes in technology matters, with a particular focus on transactions, counseling, licensing and enforcement.

Ms. Walker is a member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Committee on Entertainment Law (2004- ) and Committee on Trademarks & Unfair Competition (2000-2003); the International Trademark Association; the Brand Name Education Foundation (1998-2000); the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association; and the American Bar Association, Section on Intellectual Property Law.

Ms. Walker has served as a featured speaker at seminars and panels conducted by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA), the American Bar Association, Columbia University School of Law and The Association of the Bar of the City of New York.  She is the co-author of “The Use of the UDRP and the ACPA to Combat Cyberpiracy” (Association of the Bar of the City of New York, 2001).
