Kevin B. Clark is a partner and Co-Chair of the Litigation Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Mr. Clark specializes in multi-party, complex, civil litigation (and alternative dispute resolution) of all types. He has particular expertise in antitrust, bankruptcy, securities, insurance, contractual, environmental, and toxic-tort matters, on both a domestic and international scale.

Mr. Clark represents clients in proceedings before federal and state courts, agencies, grand juries, Congressional committees, and alternative dispute resolution tribunals.

  • Antitrust Litigation: counsel to major international computer tape manufacturer in California class action alleging conspiracy to exclude competitor and to fix prices

  • Bankruptcy Litigation: counsel to large cable television carrier, major sporting goods manufacturer and country’s largest furniture retailer in separate bankruptcy reorganization proceedings in New York and Virginia, each involving multi-hundred million dollar or multi-billion dollar disputes over valuation, inter-creditor priorities and other issues

  • Complex Litigation Coordination: national coordinating counsel to a major accounting firm in civil litigations brought by investors in alleged tax shelters

  • Congressional Investigations: representation of a large accounting firm in Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and Senate Banking Committee investigations into alleged tax shelters

  • Insurance/Reinsurance Litigation: representation of large reinsurance brokerage firm in multi-hundred million dollar jury trial in Washington state court

  • Intellectual Property Litigation: counsel to global electronics and appliance manufacturer on nine figure damages claims in patent infringement suit in Delaware federal court

  • Securities Litigation: representation of top former officers and directors of publicly-held company in federal securities suit in New York and in separate suit in Florida state court

  • Toxic Tort Litigation: counsel to one of country’s largest common carriers of chemicals in toxic tort suit brought by thousands of plaintiffs in Louisiana federal court
