Isabelle Heenen is special European counsel in the Corporate and Financial Services Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in Brussels.   Mrs. Heenen specializes mainly in civil and commercial law (corporate and finance), civil and criminal (white collar) litigation, and judiciary and arbitral procedure. She has significant expertise in the area of Supreme Court procedure as she is one of only 20 lawyers admitted to the Belgian Supreme Court.

Mrs. Heenen previously served as an assistant lecturer at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where she taught “Introduction to Law.”

Prior to joining Willkie in 2006, Mrs. Heenen was a partner at Coudert Brothers and at Coppens-van Ommeslaghe-Faurès.
