Dr. Matthias Schudlo is a partner in the Corporate and Financial Services Department focusing on complex cross-border and national mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity transactions. Matthias has been one of the most active partners of his generation in transactions by private equity sponsors, both in large cap and mid cap deals. Further, Matthias has also significant experience in M&A transactions, growth investments, intra fund transfers, carve-out transactions, capital markets and joint ventures. Matthias has a broad track record in software and technology, industrials (in particular chemicals), automotive, infrastructure, transportation, consumer goods and healthcare.

Matthias is fluent in German, English, Chinese, French and Polish.
