Lisa Eskenazi is counsel in the Asset Management Group. Lisa has extensive experience in the formation, structuring and maintenance of domestic and offshore hedge funds, funds of funds, commodity pools and master-feeder structures. Lisa has advised on many complex mergers, consolidations, and restructurings, including novel side pocket structures, on behalf of funds and their managers. She has extensive experience advising on the Investment Advisers Act, the Commodity Exchange Act and the Dodd-Frank Act. She routinely negotiates a wide variety of agreements, including separately managed account, partnership, non-disclosure, management, advisory, customer, placement, administration, subscription and other material fund agreements. Lisa regularly advises on SEC and CFTC registrations as well as assists in the establishment of compliance programs and the preparation and filing of SEC and CFTC reports and proxy statements. She frequently deals with regulators including the SEC, CFTC and NFA.
